This bridge which gives pedestrian access to Shugburough Hall Estate is situated where the River Sow flows into the River Trent. It is a very popular picnic place and when we were there a few people enjoying a swim in the clear river water.
We tried to visit Shugborough Hall but the lady at the gate told us we did not have enough time to do the visit justice and should come again when we had the whole day to spend there.
