This was a short mooring close to Dolphin Bridge No 186 and directly outside the General Elliot pub/restaurant.
The bridge took a good deal of traffic over the canal on its way to Uxbridge town centre. It is a little noisy but didn’t disturb us.
The pub was pleasant with reasonable food at reasonable prices there was free puds on Wednesday.
As usual on this stretch of the canal the mooring needed pins which, given the soft ground, needed checking regularly.
