This mooring was chosen simply because it was close to the final 9 lock climb to the Tring summit pound and we were concerned that if we went further we may not find another and be forced to continue through the nine locks and having already done 7 that was not something we wanted.
The mooring was quiet and peaceful with little boat or pedestrian traffic.
The mooring was on Armco.
