When we stopped at this mooring we had planned to stop for just one night to visit The Cowroast Inn, but when we started to search for menus we found the pub had been closed for around five years.
The mooring is however quiet and peaceful if you don’t mind the main west coast railway that runs close alongside.
The mooring has everything we need, there is a services point a short walk away. If we need water there is a tap close to the service point. We now plan to stay here for 14 days.
The moorings need pins but the holding is good.
