The winter started with a journey towards Italy middled with a winter in Portugal and ended with a disaster.
Another winter in Portugal. It was supposed to be warm and dry but like much of Europe during the 2017 / 18 winter it was cold and wet.
Summer and we went to Poland via Holland and Germany.

These were 14 day moorings a little way before Aynho Wharf, which in turn was next door to the Great Western pub/restaurant of which we had had good reports and fancied visiting for a meal. When we walked to the pub to check the menu we found the state of the towpath so rough we did not fancy stumbling back along it to the boat with a few drinks inside us.
It was a quiet and peaceful mooring.
The mooring was on Armco.
