Looking down from Braunston Curch towards the mooring
We moored a short way north of Braunston as moorings closer are normally very congested. The mooring, being so remote, was quiet and peaceful but the towpath was very muddy, although a short(ish) distance towards Braunston takes you to a footpath that runs uphill through a sheep field to the village church from where it is just a short distance to the village shop/post office and a butcher.
The mooring was on Armco although most between where we moored and Braunston Turn would need pins.
