We have used these moorings on a couple of previous occasions. It is quite remote in that it is a ten/fifteen-minute walk away, not that there is very much to go for just a small convenience store cum post office a fish and chip shop and a pub. This despite the Pearsons guide listing a deli, a baker etc., etc.,
The moorings are quiet and peaceful although with a car park nearby there is plenty of dog walking foot traffic during daylight hours.
The moorings are on Armco but if full (a regular occurrence in the season) you can often squeeze on the south end using pins.
