These are the most pleasant moorings in the most pleasant village of Cosgrove. I would imagine that during peak season they would be very busy indeed but when we used them (14th April) there was plenty of space.
As well as the Grade 11 listed bridge in the photo background Cosgrove also boasts a Grade 11 horse tunnel under the canal but, to some, most important of all a popular pub/restaurant - The Barley Mow.
We ate dinner at the pub it was, we suspect chill cook microwave food rather than fresh cooked but still acceptable except for the number of menu items they had run out of.
The mooring was on rings or Armco.
