We had wanted to stop before this but with no suitable moorings we were forced to carry on till the Pigeon Lock where we moored just before the lock landing (where lmooring is most stricktly forbidden on pain of the most horrible kind.
Despite being so close to the landing another boat crowbared itself between us and the lock landing and a "yoghurt pot” (fibreglass cruiser) managed to squeeze itself between us and the boat behind us.
Despite the squash the mooring was quiet and peaceful, place we would be very happy to come back too.
The mooring was on Armco.
