There are more scenic moorings a little before this one at Tixall Wide (see mooring report here) but the objective today was to get as close to The Canalside Farm Shop as possible and this was it.
It is quiet and peaceful but with considerable traffic, both boat and pedestrian in the summer months.
The mooring was on Armco.
