These moorings are usually 48 hours only, however, between November 1st and March 31st, they become 14-day moorings.
The canal is a little over a kilometre from the town centre which boasts an Asda, Lidl, Aldi and Morrison supermarket as well as a good range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a lively market on Wednesdays.
The mooring itself is peaceful and quiet. We are moored on an aqueduct over a rural road and have yet to hear a vehicle on it.`
