This was a very rural mooring at the south end of Betton Cutting. The towpath was grass but nearer to town it was nothing but squiggly, squelchy mud - not pleasant but by discouraging the towns joggers and dog walkers made for a very quiet and peaceful stay.
Although we didn’t stay long enough to find out, heavily wooded on both sides would be likely to prevent the solar panels from keeping the batteries topped up if you wanted to stay a few days. Moving a couple of hundred yards south would solve this problem but you would then be less isolated.
