Our second mooring on the Stort Navigation was even more of a pain getting on to than the last. The bank was very sloppy and soft so we were very careful when setting the mooring pins.
The towpath had little pedestrian traffic and was quiet and peaceful despite being directly under the Stansted take-off flight path.
