This mooring is about as close to the town of Nantwich as it is possible to get with its wide variety of both national and local shops. There are lots of restaurants and pubs aplenty. The one sad aspect is that all the moorings are 48 hours only and although many mooring times change to 14 days between 1st November and 31st March all the Nantwich moorings remain 48 hours throughout the year.
This photo was taken from the road. Our mooring was to the right of the aqueduct. Also on the right are steps and a slope giving access to the canal.
