Most of the moorings here are controlled by The National Boat Museum and cost around £15.00 a night, we didn’t try it but our friend Paul did and was not impressed neither was vlogger "Narrowboat Will” whose vlog on his stay can be seen on the YouTube below this review.
There are a couple of moorings outside the museum but even when we visited in January ’22 these were full. There are canal-side moorings a little further south but the proximity of Junction 9 M53 makes them noisy 24/7.
We moored as far as we could from the M53 on the museum side, not particularly quiet but the quietest mooring around.
