The winter started with a journey towards Italy middled with a winter in Portugal and ended with a disaster.
Another winter in Portugal. It was supposed to be warm and dry but like much of Europe during the 2017 / 18 winter it was cold and wet.
Summer and we went to Poland via Holland and Germany.

This was a fabulous mooring right in the very centre of the city, next to the city walls. Facilities are close-by and more pubs and restaurants than you can shake a stick at are within a very short walk.
Being in the city centre can be noisy during the day, particularly as the mooring is very close to Chester University student accommodation, but the two nights we spent on this mooring were quiet and peaceful.
The towpath was tarmac and the mooring on rings.
