Fradley Junction.

Fradley Junction marks the end of the Coventry Canal turning left (to port) takes you north and turning right (to starboard) takes you east towards Nottingham.

We had moored a mile or so before the junction as we were convinced that the moorings at the junction would be full and the following morning I wandered down to the junction and it was as we had predicted - absolutely jam packed, but as I arrived a boat left. I radioed bact to Sue and Mark to ask them to  bring up RoJo. In the half hour it took them all the moored boats bar one or two had upsticks and moved on.

We spent a very pleasant couple of days on this mooring, it was very close to all the facilities and arguably the most well known and photographed pub on the system The Swan, probably as well known as The Mucky Duck. We didn’t visit but reports are very positive and it is a very popular watering hole.

The mooring was on Armco.
