The winter started with a journey towards Italy middled with a winter in Portugal and ended with a disaster.
Another winter in Portugal. It was supposed to be warm and dry but like much of Europe during the 2017 / 18 winter it was cold and wet.
Summer and we went to Poland via Holland and Germany.

This details our summer of 2015. We call it summer as it was between June and September but the rain, particularly in Scotland was unrelenting.

This is the story of our autumn 2011 visit first through Holland, Germany and Switzerland following the River Rhine, then our anti-clockwise circuit of the Iberian Peninsular over the winter of 2011/12 and our spring 2012 visit to Ukraine.
This mooring was a few hundred yards beyond Hawkesbury Junction, we had intended to moor closer to the junction but it was absoluteky rammed solid.
However being that little bit further from town meant less for/bicycle traffic on the towpath giving a more peaceful stay.
The mooring was Armco.
