The winter started with a journey towards Italy middled with a winter in Portugal and ended with a disaster.
Another winter in Portugal. It was supposed to be warm and dry but like much of Europe during the 2017 / 18 winter it was cold and wet.
Summer and we went to Poland via Holland and Germany.

This, our first on “The Shroppy”, was a super quiet and peaceful mooring just after Bridge No 10 which carries just a footpath over the canal. The nearest house was quit some distance. I don’t think we saw anyone while we were there, it was so quiet and peaceful.
The mooring was Armco with a grass towpath.
