The winter started with a journey towards Italy middled with a winter in Portugal and ended with a disaster.
Another winter in Portugal. It was supposed to be warm and dry but like much of Europe during the 2017 / 18 winter it was cold and wet.
Summer and we went to Poland via Holland and Germany.

This was a pleasant mooring opposite a row of tidy, pleasant permenant moorings (some permenant moorings are very pleasant and some defy description). The most notable thing about the mooring however, was the trees laden with ripe Sloes right next to the boat. We collected enough to fill a 1,1/2 litre bottle with gin, sloes and sugar and should have very drinkable sloe gin by Christmas.
The mooring, on Armco with a grass towpath was quiet and peaceful.
