Although quiet and peaceful this was not our favourite mooring as it has lots of overhanging trees on both sides of the canal and is therefore rather dark and dismal, It does however have a great redeeming feature, the Anchor Inn. The food here, while expensive for an out-of-London pub is very good indeed and well worth the expense.
