These were part of the Wrenbury 14-day visitor moorings, of which there is quite a number. We chose this particular one because it was far enough out of the village to be quiet and immediately before the first of the village's two swing bridges which most boaters seem to try to moor between. We soon discovered that the first swing bridge, close to our mooring took a footpath across the canal and straight into the very interesting village church. Just a few yards from the church was the village store. There are two popular pubs in the village.
