Behind the brick wall is The Cheshire Cat
We had wanted to stop here for a meal on the three other occasions we have cruised past this famous pub but have either been unable to find a mooring or been in a rush. On this occasion, we managed to get a (just) big enough space the last bit of Armco. The meal was good and the mooring was quiet. Even better we managed to get exactly the same spot nine days later on our return from Ellesmere Port.
The mooring we used was on Armco most of the others require pins.
