14-day mooring Ellesmere
This is the fourth time we have used these moorings, and the first time we have managed to squeeze on the 14-day mooring section. They are very popular so if you see one vacant grab it, don’t wait to see if there is a better one a bit further on. This is as close as you can get to Tesco and the independent shops in the town centre without venturing up the Ellesmere Arm. Much of the time you venture up there you will simply turn around and come out again, it is, rightly, very popular so moorings are always packed.
The town has a good range of independent shops, restaurants and bars.
A great place to stop.
