This was the first 14-day mooring after exiting the Foxton Bottom Lock we found. There were a number of 2-day moorings that were all vacant at the height of the season (5th August) when we were looking for a 14-day.
This mooring was between two large clumps of reeds and afforded space for two short or one long narrowboat. The towpath was busy from early morning till late evening but was quiet and peaceful despite this.
The mooring was on Armco.
